This page will cover what courses will be taught and what material will be covered. Additionally, more resources will be provided in case if you want to continue your Latin learning journey once this class ends. 1-on-1 sessions are also available if circumstances call for it. Classes will typically start in July and end in August.

Beginner Class

Good for first time learners and if you barely know anything about the Latin Language.

What the class will cover:

• The origin and basic principles of the Latin Language, including parts of speech

• 1st Conjugation and 1st Declension verbs

• Forming basic sentences

Requirements:

• Moderate knowledge of English(at least 3-4th grade)

• Have not been a part of the beginner class in past years

• Latin skills range from completely unfamiliar to extremely basic understanding of Latin

Advanced Class

Good if you already know a little bit about Latin and would like to continue

What the class will cover:

• The origin and basic principles of the Latin Language, including parts of speech

• 1st Conjugation and 1st Declension verbs

• Forming basic sentences

Requirements:

• Moderate knowledge of English(at least 3-4th grade)

• Have not yet taken the advanced class

• Previously taken the Beginner course sometime before starting Advanced
